9U (2014-2015)

EAGER BEAVER BASEBALL ASSOCIATION

Welcomes you to the

9U DIVISION 2024
(formerly known as  Rookie division)

for boys and girls born in 2015 & 2016

Registration Fee is $260, which includes a Jersey, pants, socks and cap

The season will commence the week of May 6 (tentatively) and will run until the week of July 29 with end of season playoffs running that week.

All games will be at Mornington Park, Diamond 2, 6:00-8:00 pm.

There will be 20-2 hour sessions, 2 per week.

This is an instructional and developmental program for beginners as well as seasoned players.

All COVID protocols laid out by EBBA, Baseball Ontario, the Province of Ontario and the City of London must be followed.

Your player will need a baseball glove, batting helmet, protective cup, athletic (running) shoes or rubber cleats, and it is recommended they bring a drink to every session.

Basic skills are developed – pitching, batting, running bases, catching and throwing. Players are also taught how to "make plays" using simple team work skills. FUN, LEARNING and TEAMWORK are emphasized at this age. All players are encouraged to try every position on the field. Players must provide their own batting helmets.

In-door Clinics
We are offering our 2023 registered 9U players to participate in a pre-season in-door clinic to help get them warmed up and start building their skills that they will continue to build on in the regular season.  If a player did not register to play baseball in the previous season...they are required to register for the 2024 season before they can participate in these clinics.
Players will be required to sign in when they arrive.  Players should bring indoor shoes, baseball glove and wear a protective cup.

In-door clinics will be starting Jan 16th from 6:30-8:00 at JP Robarts Public School.

Note that there will not be a clinic offered during March Break.

$50 Administration fee will be applied for any refunds or withdrawals.
